Pursuing Your Dreams

Hi!

Is there something holding you back from pursing your dreams?! For me, it took me 5 years to enroll in an esthetics program after touring my first school in Seattle. I got scared and backed out because I was afraid of failure and thought I was too old to pursue this type of career. I decided to stay in a job that paid well and was a safe bet.

After moving to Colorado, I put my fear aside and went and toured another school. I felt like if we could make a big change and move to another state, I could at least look into pursing it again. With the encouragement of my husband and family, I finally enrolled. It was so exciting and terrifying at the same time. All the similar thoughts kept creeping back in my mind but this time I decided to not let fear win and go for it!

Speed up to today and I’m so happy that I didn’t back down and got my certification. I know I have so much to offer and truly want to help people understanding the importance of self-love and self-care. It took me a while to get to where I’m at today but couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
