Happy Monday! What is drying brushing and why should you start today? Dry brushing involves using a dry brush on your skin to exfoliate the dead skin cells. It benefits your skin and your body in many ways and I think the biggest benefit is that it helps eliminate toxins from your body. Here are some tips if you are interested in adding this technique to your self-care routine.

Do long strokes towards your heart 2-3 times over each area
On your stomach, do a clockwise motion
Dry brush 1-2 times per week
Recommend doing it before you get in the shower
Apply moisturizer after you are done
Clean your brush each week to remove dead skin cells
